This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Rocket LLC ("Digital Rocket," "we," "us," or "our"), the company that operates Questions.AI, collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Questions.AI mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Question Content You Provide

Photos of questions you capture with the camera or select from your photo library.
Text you type when entering a question.
Voice input when you dictate a question. Speech is converted to text using Apple's on-device Speech Recognition; we receive only the resulting text.

1.2 Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details through our authentication provider (Supabase) to sign you in and sync your history across devices.

1.3 Usage & Technical Data

We may collect app version, device model, and iOS version for diagnostics, crash reporting, and compatibility. We do not use persistent identifiers for advertising.

1.4 Subscription Data

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. We store your subscription tier and expiry date. We never receive or store your card number or full payment details — those remain with Apple.

2. How We Use Your Information

To read your question and generate a solution or explanation.
To provide voice input, read-aloud, and practice features.
To create and manage your account and subscription.
To diagnose problems, improve reliability, and prevent abuse.

3. AI Processing & Third-Party Sharing

To generate answers, Questions.AI sends your question content (the image and/or text of the question you submit) to a third-party AI provider, OpenAI, L.L.C. (the "ChatGPT" / OpenAI API), by way of our secure server (Supabase). This is required for the core functionality of the App.

What is shared: the question image and/or text you submit, and minimal context needed to produce an answer. Who it is shared with: OpenAI (ChatGPT), as our AI processor. Why: solely to generate your answer. Per OpenAI's API terms, this content is not used to train its models, and it is never used for advertising. See openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.

On-device processing: Basic text detection in images is performed on your device using Apple's Vision framework before a question is submitted.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account information and question history for as long as your account is active. You can delete your history in the App, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@questionsai.app. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Children's Privacy

Questions.AI is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@questionsai.app. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
